RSCM Area Choir Rehearsal – Leap Day!

RSCM Area Choir Rehearsal in St Andrew’s, Ampthill on Monday 29th February starting at 7.45pm. Please park in neighbouring streets or in the car park down the road.

Update [10.44pm]

Terrific singing from the folks of Bedfordshire.  You need a Cathedral a bit closer to home!  I admire your commitment to church music.  Keep it up! (Sounds like a school report).

Finals with Tim Blinko

An outstanding afternoon in St Albans Cathedral for the Finals of the 5th year of St Albans Young Musician Competition sponsored by St Albans Cathedral Music Trust.  Wonderful performances by ensembles, choirs and soloists.  Huge congratulations to all the performers and their accompanists.  And not forgetting Professor Tim Blinko of the University of Hertfordshire, who put his neck on the line as the Adjudicator.  No blood was seeping under the door at the end so the audience seemed satisfied in his decision making. Phew.

New website

After an intense two days, I think this website is nearly there.  But a website is no good if no one looks at it.  I hope a few may visit and that, when I retire in the summer, I can start to build the third phase of my professional career.

Lots of playing at the moment

Enjoying playing in five different churches this half term.
